Hi Fabbers

Our hot weather is well and truly here. Today is going to be 40 and I have been in dresses all week.

Today I'm wearing an Esprit dress that I bought on one of my shoppong trips with my sister. It was a bit of an impulse buy because it felt so nice and light and my practical side said it would be great for really hot days.

However I really on,y like it with something layered over it. It goes into frump territory worn on its own:)

So I'm wearing it to work today with my Zara sleeveless jacket. I have mixed feelings about the dress so I will have me to see how it plays out and if I do infact wear it on very hot days.

DH used my camera earlier in the week and I'm struggling to get my settings back the way I like them:) so excuse bad pics. Our house is in darkness as we endeavor to keep cool so I have ventured out to the garden.

As always appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Definitely a bit of a new direction for you but I think it works really well. The print is interesting and not at all girly, and the vest and shoes pull it back towards your look, like Lyn said.

Thanks Greyscale. And responses like "what were you thinking" will be accepted with good grace LOL. This is definitely not a direction I am heading in, more like a spot I might visit very occasionally. Our summers are hot and good dresses, that I like, are hard to find.
