WIW 9-1: Formcore in blue - YouLookFab Forum

This particular Formcore is over a base of workout tops so I only have to swap out my bottom half before I go running this PM. It's unusual for me in that you can actually see my socks, which I never do, although I buy really fun ones from HappySocks because they're hilarious. These are turquoise with magenta polka dots. I suppose if you're stretching you could say they mirror the paler pinks and blues up top, but it's not required. I also think these boots are fated to have a run-in with black liquid polish to tarnish them a more ambiguous smoky color, brown shoes being something of an anomaly for me.

Your comments are welcome. (Not rolling the jeans, I'm borderline over that trend in many cases).

Those boots are yummy. I am looking for taupe boots along those lines. Are they from this season?

AT, I got them on eBay so no idea. I find Ksubis run small, I usually wear a 39 and these are 40.

Ooh I like these colors on you IK, fun look (and a lot less "formy" than I expected). The brown, yes a bit unexpected, but work very well. Plus the coloring is super. I dunno if tauping them will make them necessarily more versatile for you.

Aida - not going to taupe them, going to tarnish them black. They'll turn a sort of deep browny black, like tarnish on silver. I've done it before with kiwi liquid polish and it works well, if anyone else wants to try.

Ah gotcha, that sounds more like you then. Do you have other similarly shaped boots in that color? I rather like this unexpected brown for you, but totally get brown footwear feeling anomalous.

I'm not sure if I like that blue and pink together. Can't decide if they're nursery colors or 80's Florida Golden Girls.

Ha! They're not saturated enough to be GG and not pastel enough to be preschool. But I can see how you might think so from the pics.

Aida, according to my husband, every single one of my shoes looks the same... Does that answer your question?

I keep seeing this as "foamcore"... And it is kind of sea-foamy. Love the boots but I'm sure your artistry will take them to new heights.

I quiet like the color combo. And I agree with Aida in that the brown shoes are lovely with this. But then .... Obviously do what suits you

BTW, I am in love with HappySocks too. I have one in grey with yellow polka dots
