Oh my, you look like you're having fun. My first house was a 1938 Tudor revival. About 8 years ago, my husband and I moved to a "new" house, built in 1966. The older home was so much better built than our "new" house. And our new house is 48 years old. Renos are messy but fun. Can't wait for the big reveal.
Congrats on the new house! The kitchen is gorgeous and I'm sure the rest of the house will follow suit once you finish remodeling. DH and I remodeled our place in 6 weeks and it was hectic but I'm so glad we did because now we 'just live there' instead of dealing with remodeling disruptions.
