WIW 7/4 and 7/5: Thrifted and vintage

1. Yesterday I was at outdoor parties all day and I didn't trust myself to keep my white jeans clean! So I went for an outfit you've seen before -- my fave aqua skinnies and "lady" tee from our local Goodwill! Added my new Vince Camuto colorblock bag and last year's Payless wedge sandals and I was good to go! One of DH's co-workers at the party said I looked "foxy!" Heh.

2. Today it's back to work! You've seen this before, too: Vintage navy and white polka-dot dress. Today I added a brown belt and Payless (again!) brown gladiator sandals, with my Brahmin leopard bag.

I always appreciate your comments and suggestions!

I love both tee and dress! I would not have thought to pair the leopard bag with the navy dots...but it's "spot on".

You know what's crazy? This ca-1960s dress fits me, like, perfectly. The button-front doesn't gap, and the shoulders are where they should be, and the sleeves are even the right length when unscrunched. Same with several of my vintage garments. Has everybody just gotten that much taller and smaller-busted and longer-armed in the past 50 years or so?

Now THAT's what I call style diversity! This is like Cyndi Lauper to Donna Reed -- in a very stylish way. You look great both days -- I'm particularly fond of the second pair of sandals and the aqua skinnies!
