WIW 7/27: Finally! An NAS keeper!

I haven't had much luck with the NAS this year. Apart from the leather Halogen peplum top that Una was kind enough to pass on to me after it didn't work for her, I have been ordering and returning like a madwoman.

But. I fell in love with the scarf Angie featured in this blog post and when it arrived yesterday it more than lived up to my expectations! And to my pleasant surprise, it quickly made friends with The Cutest Purse In The World! It's a nice lightweight wool that is just right for a coolish and overcast summer day! (Bonus outtake with kitty!)

Scarf: Halogen
Apple green knit blazer: GAP
Gray tee: Danskin, ancient
Gray flares: Swap
Black sandal booties: Payless
Mint/dalmation bag: Gaya

Gorgeous scarf - it seems a bit chameleon in nature, the green is quite subdued sans blazer, but once you put your blazer on, it really pops!

Did you try Angie's recommended houndstooth cowlneck. I got mine in the mail and it is so amazing!! Sooo bombshell, I could just hug it and pinch it's cheeks at the same time. Waiting on a bunch of other stuff now.

I didn't quite feel the NAS in person either Lovely scarf however. Very nice with many colors I would imagine. That green jacket is the best color!

About NAS, you too?
I have strucked out thus far on 4 pairs of boots, 1 skirt and 2 tops. I'm waiting for the McGinn jacket, a pair of mid calf boots, 2 blouses and the halogen skirt in another size. I'm not liking the new fit at all. My apartment is full of boxes at the moment, not happy at all.
If I get the McGinn to fit well, I'll be in heaven.

Wow MK - this is so glamourous looking! I love the way you are mixing up your proportions these days by adding the wide-legged trousers. They are very flattering on you! I am lusting after the handbag - just. so. cool. Love the entire outfit - the scarf looks so much better "on" then if I were to just see it in the store - and it goes great with your jacket! Great outfit!
