I was super excited with this morning's ensemble as I own a black leather moto vest I haven't worn a lot lately, and the post gave me a lots of styling ideas. I do not own true culottes - still pondering if I should get a pair since I could not wear them to work. However, I do own a pair of long and loose cobalt shorts that Angie called culottes-lite. I have played with all the three different bottom options shown on the blog, but the version I actually wore to work was #3 as it was the only one that would pass the dress code rules. The other two outfits will have to wait for the the right occasions and weather. I stuck to the same color palette as the post as well - black, white and cobalt, with a touch of silver.

All the three outfits have a couple of pieces in common: black leather moto vest (VS), silver satchel bag (Rebecca Minkoff), two tone rose gold/silver watch and grey sunglasses (both Marc by Marc Jacobs). The other components were:
#1 -culottes-lite version: white lace shell (Rebecca Taylor), cobalt wool long shorts (CM), super old from college (!) strappy black wedge sandals, possibly the only piece I still own and wear from college days
#2 - pencil skirt version: black ruched tube skirt (Vince Camuto), black&white plaid silk tee (Equipment), black ankle strap pumps (SE Okalas)
#3 - ankle pant version: window pane black ankle pants and cobalt cowl neck sweater (Express). black pointy wedges (Belle by Sigerson Morrison)

As always, all the suggestions and comments are welcome!
