1. On the first day of spring I busted out my new blue oxford cloth shirt from the Target boys' department, which is my new go-to source for button-front shirts! I teamed it with some workhorse pieces (yellow Halogen skirt, Gap navy blazer), and a pair of hand-me-down Max Studio pumps in this amazing color - not quite terra cotta, not quite red, but fantastically neutral in a non-neutral kind of way! Loved how they worked with the red roses on the thrifted scarf.

2. Thursday I paired my beloved silk "queen bee" blouse with a Nic + Zoe knit animal print skirt, new black Comptoir Des Cotonniers blazer, and nude Seychelles shooties. I am in love with this jacket and would wear it every day if I could.

3. Friday I declared my own personal casual day because it was a little gloomy, so I cozied up in my gray microcheck slouchy pants from Esprit, floral print pussy-bow blouse from Halogen, T Tahari ponte knit moto jacket, Adrienne Vittadini black platform loafers, and the red Burberry raincoat that was the crown jewel of my recent NYC consignment store expedition. This outfit was really put together to showcase my freshly-manicured green fingernails! LOL
