Wow! This challenge has been super educational! I had a red/pink outfit planned for today, but I've learned this week that red and pink aren't adjacent colors at all -- pink is a tint, made by adding white to red. Who knew?

So I went to my closet and started ransacking it for something that was a true adjacent color combo. Found this wonderful photo of Mrs. Obama and realized I could duplicate it if I reversed the colors of the blouse and the jacket. I originally had it planned with brown pants, but when I pulled out the cobalt cords from the first YLF swap (*waving at rae*), the magic really happened! (There's that across-the-color-wheel thing again!)

I went out to lunch with my colleagues today and they kept saying "Wow! You are really bright today!" Which I chose to take as a compliment! LOL

Orange blouse: from the vintage shop
Yellow jacket: G.E.T.
Cobalt pants: Banana Republic via swap
Leopard pumps: Jessica Simpson
Brown tote: Elliott Lucca
"White tiger" belt: Talbots

Thanks for looking, and thanks for joining me on my wild and crazy week! And thanks, most of all, to Aida for getting the whole thing started!!
