I had pinned this photo ages ago, long before I'd succeeded in finding a chambray shirt. Then it was finding an approprite time to be both casual, and wearing a skirt (this has been a weather issue more than anything else). Today was perfect, no meetings, and the Thursday before a long weekend.
#1 is how I wore it, and obviously #2 is the inspiration pin.
I also thought I'd see if the white booties would be better with this outfit, so #3 is a shot of that. What do you think? I think better than the cobalt dress, but probably still black is the preferred option with this combo. Gosh I hope these booties aren't ONLY going to be good with white denim!
