AviaMariah, I was worried about clothes stretching out too:

But I didn't want to buy a whole new maternity wardrobe, and I was tired of my old maternity clothes, so I mostly wore regular clothes. I haven't found that to be the case, that the clothes actually got stretched out. So far, the things I wore before, during and after seem to be OK. It's not like I was wearing the same clothes every day, so I guess the fabric had time to recover! However, I do think that my belly is not as flat as it was pre-pregnancy (yet, anyways), so I haven't been wearing the body-con stuff as much. Like in my holiday party thread, the red dress shows off my squishy post-partum tummy in all its glory, so I had to skip that one. Also, some of the non-maternity stuff I bought last year was on the roomier cut side to accommodate the growing belly (like the Gap dolman sweaters), and I'm not as keen on wearing those right now because they just seem like they would be too baggy. I did buy a bunch of stretchy pencil skirts which are still OK on me post-partum, and I'm still wearing my transitional jeans, even though it's a little loose on me now. It's funny how I went from tailored, to body con, to fluid/loose fit!
