Here is my interpretation on the Melon ensemble, worn at the beginning of the week. Melon is not my color as it is way too warm for me. I can wear watermelon though, it's cooler-toned cousin. The watermelon cashmere sweater I am wearing in the outfit looks relatively cool toned, but in my closet folded with my other pinks it looks pretty warm.
Per ensemble instruction, I combined this cropped watermelon VS sweater with dark cropped R&S jeans I hacked and navy Le Maison peacoat. I used warmer, cognac toned accessories: leather BR bag, studded Gap belt and suede Report high-shaft booties. I also added a patterned scarf that goes with the sweater and happens to have both some melon and watermelon at its end.
