WIW 10/29 and 10/30: FFBOs with pants and jackets

Things are really hot and heavy at the house so I am grabbing pants and jackets and just running out the door.

1. Today: Orange, navy, and gray. Gotta love it!

Orange pants: Banana Republic c/o Suz
Print blouse: Veronica M
Navy blazer: GAP
Gray belt: Target
Gray pumps: Madden Girl
Gray tote: Talbots

2. Wednesday: Not super happy with the white shirt with this jacket, but I was rushed (hot water didn't go on until 7:30 - had to be out of the house by 8) and it had to do. A lady at Rotary said, "Mary, you are looking very rock 'n' roll today!", which I chose to take as a compliment! LOL

3-5. The living room painting has started and I'm really happy with how it's turning out. Love my aqua ceiling! And don't you think the primer + spackle on the fireplace looks like an animal print? I'm tempted to leave it that way! And I am in. love. with the fancy faucets in the master bath!

I love your first outfit - all my happy colors and a nice easy way to look polished.
I like the idea of animal print on fireplace, but would do it very subtle with a gloss white over a flat white. It would be your little secret.
I do like the aqua ceiling and the faucets. I have total bathroom envy.

Living in a work zone and looking fab are often mutually exclusive. Except at your house! The colors in the first look are vibrant, but polished, with beautiful fits. For a more casual look, I think a long-tailed, relaxed fit white shirt could work with the jacket in #2, worn untucked. Of course, that wouldn't be suitable for work!
