WIW 10/20: Orange and navy with a splash of white

I think skinny pants are definitely becoming a wardrobe essential for me. So easy to toss on and go! I had to be up and ready for the contractors by 7 a.m. this morning so I reached for some easy pieces and I think it worked out okay. What do you think?

House report: My contractor texted me yesterday that she was at a thrift shop and had found a pair of awesome lamps for $45 for the pair, and did I want them? Did I WANT them? I think they are awesome and I can totally see them working in any room in the house! Vintagey, silver, round -- what's not to like? Plus they look like C3PO's eyes! LOL

Ahhh, orange and blue together, one of my favs. I just seem to have a hard time DOING it! This looks wonderful on you, I esp like the little bit of pattern mixing brought in by your belt. This does NOT look "easy", so well done.

And love the lamps, how great to have someone on the lookout for you!

Wow I love bright colors and this hits it out of the park for me. I always loved contrast trim too so the shoes have always made me a little jealous every time I see them in one of your WIWs. And all before 7am? On a Monday? My word.

Gonna have to talk to my designer about lamp shades. I guess it will depend on what room we put them in. I can totally see them with black shades for the guest room, or... we'll see!
