WIW 10/1: Painting Party with the Property Sisters

I have been going at a dead run since my plane touched down on Monday! I wore painting clothes all day yesterday, and today I painted all morning and just barely got myself dressed in time to get to my Rotary Club meeting. No time to take an outfit pic, but when I got home my design/build team was there and look! We were all color-coordinated! So we had to take a triple selfie, which will have to do as my WIW, too.

It's not in the photo but I carried my espresso brown tote. Let's hear it for Angie's fab tried-and-true navy, peach and brown combo!

House update: allow me to introduce the Property Sisters. Marilynn, the designer, is in the middle, and that's Allison, the general contractor, on the right. It's been two months now and I'm still head-over-heels in love with both of them! Marilynn and I have been hard at work for the past two days painting my late-80s pecan dining room chairs silver (pics 2-4), while Allison's crew has been putting actual walls and an actual floor in the master bath and getting the electrical outlets properly placed for the hair dryer, flatiron, et al. Oh, and my awesome super shiny two-oven range (a birthday gift from my parents) was delivered on Tuesday! Much excitement here at Queen's Landing this week!

Missey, it had better be big enough for a turkey! That's why I bought it! Turkey on the bottom, sides on the top! I read the reviews and this one seemed to be the biggest overall, given that I had only 33 inches of space in which to fit it. It's a GE Profile.

Ooh, Thistle! That's an interesting idea! We're waiting to see what colors we do in the adjoining living room before we decide on the upholstery. I was cracking up because Marilynn, the designer, kept talking about my "beautiful vintage dining room set." And I'm all, "Ahem. I bought it new. In, uh, 1988..."

Love the stove! I have a small kitchen too, so I've gotten used to trying to find the biggest/best of a limited selection whenever we have to replace something.
