WIW 1-27: I surrender!

As in, my waist. Also, by request, I am smiling. It was painful but I did it! (Ha.)

- America 525 cotton-cashmere drapey cowlneck sweater
- JCrew white 3/4-sleeve t
- Seven high-waist straightlegs
- Y3 metallic sneakers
- unseen: black polka-dot Happy Socks

Pic 2:
- Eileen Fisher slightly glittery scarf
- Nau versa blazer - best jacket ever! I was hoping their trench would be as great (like a long version of this blazer), but the fabric and cut was nowhere near as good. Oh well.

I would love a even-more-glittery scarf in natural fibers (cotton, linen), any suggestions?

You look FANTASTIC! I find it a huge relief to surrender my waist instead of trying to hold it all in and try not to look lumpy. Not that you do! But once you see that is is flattering AND comfy, you may never go back.

I vote no scarf. It breaks up the lovely drape of the top. Know what I mean, jellybean?

Oh yes, Angie - no worries. The scarf is just for the bike ride into work so my neck doesn't get chilled. It comes off the moment I enter the office!

One thing about a cowlneck, it does tend to grab crumbs. Just saying for us untidy eaters.
