My style always becomes more minimal in the summer! Too hot for layers, boo...

1/2: WIW 05.30.12 - I love this linen paper bag waist skirt - so easy, breezy, and cool. Paired with giant Naot platforms.
Gap top, Tulle skirt, Naot sandals, Etsy chain bracelets

3: WIW 05.28.12 - A casual shorts outfit for Memorial day. The shorts have zebras on them (this is by far my favorite style of shorts - fairly short and very drapey and voluminous). I wore this for errands, gardening, and car washing. (Neither the garden or the car were mine, which might be why I found this fun, since it's a novelty for me, LOL). I changed into a sundress (no photo, sorry) for a cookout later in the day.
BR tank, Anthro shorts, ancient Naot sandals

Beautiful summer outfits! I love that paper bag skirt! And the sandals in #1 are so pretty! Thanks for the great examples of hot weather dressing in darker colors!

Love both of these! You look so fab in these silhouettes! I would run screaming from a cream, paperbag waist skirt, but on you it looks gorgeous. The shorts are fun and fab too. Love those platforms!

Yay for team short shorts! Love those drapey and high waisted, leg-baring looks. I feel my style is more minimal in the summer as well - can't even stand much jewelry!

Angie, I am most likely keeping the mustard gladiators, but am going to walk around indoors in them for a little longer to make sure they are comfy. So far they seem to be. =)
