Thank you so much for all of your comments!
I knew when I walked out of the house with the sandals tied up over my jeans that I was doing something either very fashion-forward or fashion-flop. That morning I had a bit of shopping to do as well as going up to Boy Toy's (Lutheran) church to participate in a a charity event they were having. I have to admit that every head turned when I walked in! They are mostly an older, conservative group. I always give them something to talk about, that's for sure! LOL!
I can't say that I follow high fashion nor what celebrities wear, so if anyone else is doing this, I didn't know a thing about it. I may try it again with a slinky clubbing top for going out on a date.
As for the blouses... I'm informed that the white shirt is sold out in size small. The attractive price doesn't look so attractive when in the end I am going to return both. I will have my purchase price refunded, but will have spent $10 for shipping plus at least $6 for return shipping. I'll be out $16 with nothing to show for it. Grrrrrrrrrrr.....
Angie - You're remembering my Wonder Woman comments from your blog posting, eh? LOL - If I could get away with wearing that costume, I would! In fact ... Anything goes on Halloween, right?
Thanks for the suggestions on using a more saturated color cardi with the first dress. I think that's a great idea and I'll be on the lookout.
And by the way - I really WAS too bloated to wear a lot of my regular clothing items last week. I had to search out stretchy fabrics and just wore belted stuff a notch or so looser than usual.
