Our weather has definitely settled into the hot category (although I'm trying not to think about the fact that it will be getting hotter) so I wore my new dress from Marshall's to church (brand name is "Grace", but I couldn't even find a photo online to create a find). This is only the second time I've worn it - the other time was to work - and it is super comfy. It came with a belt (same fabric as the dress) but I much prefer the dress on its own, so I cut out the loops. Franco Sarto wedge sandals, which are almost as light and cool as going barefoot, finished off the look. I wasn't in the mood for accessories, so super simple was the name of the game (and I even kept my eye makeup much lighter than usual - which you know is out of the ordinary for me!). Even in bright sunlight I can't quite tell if the dark stripe in the dress is navy, black or grey, but I think it's navy. John wore the same white shirt as from our anniversary pics, but with different shoes. I had to get closeup shots of his shirt and my dress because when I was sitting next to him this morning, I kept noticing how cool the dark stitching against the white on his shirt looked with my stripes and the stitching on my dress. Sometimes it's the little details that get me!

On a side note, I promise that both of us were perfectly pressed before we left the house, but by the time we got home and took the photos, we looked way more rumpled than when we left... Oh well, that's the nature of cotton, I suppose.
