I've been scarce because we spent a week at the beach in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. I love the beach and look forward to this trip all year. I wish I had more outfit photos from the trip but in reality we spent most of time on the beach and playing in the waves.

#1 - Sitting in the tidal pool with the baby, my brother, and my dad at low tide. I had a hat for him but he kept taking it off. No worries, he's coated in sunscreen (as are the rest of us). I definitely subscribe to the hat and sunscreen theory for sun protection.

#2 - Peter Pilotto bikini bottom from Target with Victoria's Secret top.

#3. Pink swim shirt. I bought this after reading Angie's post on swim shirts and rash guards. I realized that my kids love wearing swim shirts and why shouldn't adults wear them as well? I'm not sure who came up with the bright idea of balancing on the sea kayak, but we all took a turn.

#4 - Sundress that I wore out to dinner one night. Try to ignore the no make-up, air-dried hair.

#5 - Cut-off shorts and running tank for an early morning walk on the beach with baby boy (he's still in his PJ's).

#6 - Me and DH in front of a fin whale skeleton. I wore the straw fedora to cover up my beach hair and for some sun protection.
