Dear YLF,

I have been spending some time in Portugal but still reading the blog. It always amazes me that I plan wardrobe for vacations but then never share it.
I don't pack light , or at least I didn't for this trip because I will be travelling and staying in places where the amount or weight of my luggage are not a problem.
I also took some lessons from a similar visit some years ago where I felt very restricted in terms of options so this time I tried the happy medium, my clothes match each others but I do have a lot of options.
I have been marvelling on the way people here dress differently than in Canada and although certain things have changed in my shopping habits and style I am still a very Portuguese dresser at heart.
I bought already some things here because they were having one of the two big sales of the year and maybe will buy a couple more but am very happy to report that my own fashion sense and inclinations didn't get lost.
Anyway , I have been very happy with my packing choices.
This trip was a kind of coming of age trip and being able to feel happy on my own skin was very helpful.
I don't have on location photos (yet)but managed to take these two outfit photos.
1. This is a fun dress although maybe a little too big for me.
2. This linen pants are the best. They feel good and have been great when it the very warm days we'be been having. The animal print top matches the lining of my bag, not that it is visible or that I have done it on purpose but it gives me the giggles
3. DD in one of the newest parts of the city.
4. Shellfish, I craved shellfish so much

Hope you are doing well and I will try to share more photos.
Thank you for looking.
