WIW- getting to the 'Ho-Hum' part of the current Season.

Hi Fabbers,
I don't want to buy any more Winter stuff, but am tiring a little of the cold weather and my outfit choices!
This is an update of a favourite from a couple of years ago- with new grey BFs and my favourite Metalicus chunky scarf.
Should I try to tuck my shoe-laces here?

Lyn this looks gorgeous! The tones work really nicely together. Is the sweater pink/mushroom? I think the laces are fine. I do tend to tuck mine in now but your are not too obvious if you know what I mean. I am sorry you are tiring of your winter clothes:( I am still like a pig in mud and am enjoying every minute of the cold:)

I know what you mean. I hate winter. Your outfit looks very modern and fresh. Is it the jumper that is a couple of years old? Although the hi-lo hem looks very current too. I don't think you need to tuck the laces - I can't even see them unless I look very hard.

I love the pants and lace ups. The layered tops work beautifully with the scarf. You look gorgeous although the winter is making you feel drab. Summer makes me feel like this (we have 8 long months of summer)

Wow if you feel ho-hum you certainly don't look it! But - I SO know the feeling! I especially love those shoes. I don't think the laces need to be tucked - but I've never tried that - might make you feel more fresh? YLF!!

Fun update, Lyn! I love the way the sleeves of the tee make a column of colour for you with the pants. I don't notice the laces here, but if they bug you (I know laces do irritate me...) then try tucking and see if it works. I have mixed results with Angie's technique myself -- sometimes they stay and sometimes they wiggle loose.

yes, it seems with every season i reach a "ho-hum". but i love how you have layered here, everything looks fresh. i haven't lace tucking, but i don't think the laces here are really noticable anyway.

Deborah, the old sweater is what I call salmon- but has some grey as well.
