I'm going to take a shot at keeping a visual diary of what I am actually wearing - what works and what doesn't. Suggestions welcomed and encouraged.

#1 - What I wore to walk the dog. Actually threw this outfit on 3 consecutive mornings to get out and about with her before it warmed up too much.
Leggings: Athleta
Top: Cloth and Stone
Shoes: Joie (was trying these out to see if they are comfortable enough to take when I travel. They passed, so I will now go back to walking the dog in regular sneakers.)
Hat: A kid sized hat from some random internet vendor - fits my pinhead.

#2 What I wore to run errands and go to cooking class. I learned to make dosas - so good! Can't wait to try them at home soon.
Top: Madewell - the fabric is a little thin, but the colors, widely spaced print and graceful hi-low hem (so often those don't fall in a flattering way on me) drew me in.
Jeans: DL1961 Angel - a style that fits me perfectly, so of course discontinued. Hard to tell in the picture, but they are a dark burgundy - super useful color for me.
Boots: SW

#3 What I wore to again run errands, get a haircut and a manicure.
Top: Joie
Jeans: DL 1961 Angel - see above
Shoes: Everybody by BZ Moda - one of those crazy Amazon purchases talked about on another thread - my size was the one marked down this time.

#4 What I squeezed myself into for a business event.
It is getting to be time to retire the sheath dresses and move on to shifts, I think. But I love this cream color, it's a kind of heavy almost worsted wool. Bonus shot of the Brutalist brooch I wear with it (It left a bit of a mark the first time I wore it, so now the brooch it a permanent fixture with the dress.) Don't love the black boots with this, but this was an event that involved standing on a stone floor for three hours so I went for comfort. Plus, I have learned that at these crowded cocktail things, nobody ever gets a look at anyone from the hemline down.
Dress: Elie Tahari
Boots: Donald Pliner
Brooch: Vintage
