My week at work
1. Fuschia and Animal (inspired by Amy's look a few weeks ago) : Olivia Moon ponte jacket, Gap animal Belt, Eliza J dress, Michael Kors tortoise watch, Kelsi Dagger wedges.
2. Watery blues: LL Bean signature stripe top, tucked into Gap True Straight Navy slacks, Gold Esprit Belt, Kate Spade Medallion necklace, Caslon jacket, the much maligned pumps with slacks (my pedi did not match this outfit so I went for navy Clarks)
3. Umm not sure in retrospect. Suzi Chin dress, Tila White denim jacket (I have this in denim too and love the lightweight and gorgeous pleats in back) thought the grey buttons tied it in, Purple Born sandals
4. Light neutrals: Caslon Whitney grey slacks, Esprit belt, Old Navy tribal print top, Talbot's jacket, python shoes Jessica Simpson
5. Good on hanger but mid day I felt like I belonged on staff at airline or cruise ship. J Crew silk top (found for $20!), Kut white bootlegs, Esprit belt, Talbot's vest (maybe this is the piece that put it over the edge or would darker denim work better?), Caslon sandals
6. White out: family reunion with required all white dress code. Paige bermudas (found recently at Rack for $38), White embroidered top (so old I don't know by whom), needed cami - bratop cami by Solutions. Just hard to look one's thinnest in all white, in summer and still be comfortable, not too hot and able to run around taking care of guests. At least I did not spill red wine on myself (as sadly one person did - but all was recovered)

Thanks for looking. Comments and ideas for tweaking and improvement welcome. It's going to be much hotter this week and already I am nervous as to what I'll wear to work.
