WIW - Studs (yes, the boots!) and radiant orchid

I stumbled upon this blouse while out browsing and did a double take. Fabric is a lovely silk, cut is almost an exact copy of the classic Equipment shirt, and it was...marked down to $20? I looked it over and could not find anything wrong with it, so I thought I'd add a trend color to my wardrobe. Not sure it is my absolute best color, but I do like it on me for a change of pace.

I'm committing to the boots. I find that I'm anxious to wear them even if they do look a little different from my expectation. Until they develop a patina, I will probably choose to wear them with bootcuts just so viewers are not blinded by so many shiny studs .

I almost wore one of my new Boston purchase jackets but this one matched so well I had to give it an outing. It's old and starting to pill, and I have barely worn it this winter, but I still like it. Plus the colors in it made my bag choice obvious.

Janet, I am so glad you decided to keep the boots. They look great peeking out from your boot cuts! The color of your new shirt looks stupendous on you and I just love how the belt subtly echoes the studded boots.

You look flipping amazing! The blouse, at least in the pics, looks a little bit more purple and saturated than the 'true' radiant orchid, which I think suits you very well. We have similar coloring and I can't wear that pastel lilac, but I'd steal this shirt off you in a second.

Wowsa! Rhinestone cowgirl meets urban sophisticate. You never fail to disappoint, and I am gasping at the fabness of the boots. You are actually making me reconsider studs, especially in small doses, which is what I consider this dose. I'm bedazzled (fun pun intended)!

I agree with everyone that the color is great for you! You'd think that for Pantone's color of the year, there would be more pieces in RO, but I've only found one knit sweatshirt in all my shopping. You lucked out!
