WIW - sleeveless with bfs, oxfords, patterns

I never posted these, but they fit right in with the sleeveless challenge.

#1 - Pattern mix of polka dots and stripes, this must have been right before a haircut.
#2 - This top is not buttoned incorrectly (as DH asked)! It is asymmetrical on purpose! I love the colors.
#3 - Same top mixing it up with my white bfs.
#4 - Sleeveless purple high/low theory blouse, worn with Jeffrey Campbell summer oxfords, which I have worn a lot this summer. (Hair especially messy due to whipping off hat for picture.)

In light of recent posts about shopping mistakes and thrifting, I will say that the only things bought new here were the top in #2 and 3 and the oxfords (all on end of season sale). The rest was thrifted, consigned or ebayed.

I did wear all of these, but truly welcome all constructive criticism. Thanks for looking!

Ooh! I love these looks, and you are right - they fit right in with the sleeveless theme. Top #2 is so pretty and unusual. This is what hot-weather dressing needs to be about - finding ways to make a simple piece a bit unusual. I really like it with the whites in #3.

The mix in #1 is such fun. #2/3 is an interesting take on assymetry and makes one take a second look. It all looks great.

3 is my favorite - love the proportions and the j. crew half-tuck! These are all so sassy and fun in a girly tomboy way... love them and wish I had weather to copy!

Thanks! Una the shirt is uneven on the bottom. Sort of an automatic half tuck in effect. Suz, you are so right - you can't wear many pieces in 90 degree weather so it is great when you can make them count. Joy, thanks for appreciating my bizarre sense of pattern mixing!

The pattern mixing is #1 is crazy but it's working to my eye:) The top in #2 is just gorgeous and somehow makes more sense than the half tuck I have seen on bloggers. Great outfits all round, casual and comfy but still super stylish.

#3 and 4 are my favourites! Love a white bottom in hot weather, and you have done well with standalone tops.

I am so, so, SO sticky about rolled up jeans to the ankle but #3 launched me into orbit. KILLER!

These are all fantastic Shevia - I love your pretty drapey blouses with the various lengths of bottoms. And I totally admire how you can pull off this look successfully with flats! I think it's because the bottoms are nice and slim against your leg and ankle. Adore the top in #2 and #3.
