WIW - skirt & top green lantern homage

Hello ladies - here's what I wore to work on Tuesday 3 July. The colour scheme is reminiscent of the Green Lantern and with that thought in mind I felt like a superhero all day.

I'm wearing my new ponte midi skirt (Suzanne Grae) - I am a ponte convert - so warm and comfortable to wear. Plus green knit ruffle top, black boots (Zierra), green coat (Benetton), multi scarf.

Last time I wore this top with trousers - let me know which looks better or if it works ok with both. Final shot of my superhero - The Green Lantern.

I really like how that scarf complements the coat! All the lovely green shades is really restful. Very lovely.

@Thanks Sarah I'm kind of leaning towards the trousers but that may be because I wear more trousers than skirts.

@ Meredith it's cold & miserabLe in Auckland at the moment so the green kind of brightened things up on a dreary rainy day.

I absolutely LOVE this olive green color on you-fabulous outfit! And I think that the handbag is to die for:)
Btw, I think this top looks great with either pants or skirts

What a great color, it looks lovely with your complexion and dark hair! I prefer it with the skirt; to me it looks OK but not super-amazing with the trousers. I adore the olive coat over the olive sweater!!

OoOooOOOoooOOOOH! Love it with the new skirt! The trousers are a wonderful fit, but I do think the shorter top works better with the skirt, which is perfect length and fullness for you. And the coat is phenomenal.

You do realize that we've roasting here in middle-America? You're making me miss Winter -- just a little!

@Aida - actually last time I wore this top you suggested I try and with a skirt and voila
@Deborah - fortunately the EQ was near the middle of the north island several hundreds of kms from Auckland. The bad news is that the whole country is EQ prone (we haven't had one in Auckland in living memory) so I better make sure my civil defense kit is stocked up just in case we have a big one.
@BethAnn - I've been thinking that I wish it was summer so I could try out the summer BF jean craze. Not to mention all the lovely summer dresses everyone is sporting.

I really love the green top and I am sure it looks equally good with pants. So nice to see colour in the dreary winter weather!

Love your greens, Kiwi(chick):-) That coat is fab and true to Benneton's shades, love the ruffle top, too. Basic items are also perfect, and shows good value!

Ponte is amazing for comfort and non-wrinkling isn't it? I just love it.

That olive green is amazing on you. I think I prefer with skirt (which goes so well with boots - what a good formula for cold weather). Green Lantern has got nothing on you!
