WIW - pleated skirt shoe choice and new stuff

I have a meeting in 3 minutes so need to be quick.

Pic one is yesterday. I bought the pants at J Crew in TO last week. Added a J Jill silk top, casual cardi and my lace up chunky boots. I think it worked. I really like the fit of the pants and the color is a deep olive.

Today I posted about shoe options. I wanted to go low because my feet have been a bit troublesome the last few weeks. The last pic is with one of the new oxfords and one of the new booties. I also took a close up of the back of the shoes but it is a bit out of focus.

I LOVE the skirt and may get a B&W one if I can find it. I wore a Charles Tyrwhitt button front that I think fits well, chunky Zara necklace, laMer watch and nude micro fishnets.

Next time I may wear the skirt with tall black boots and a tneck.

OMG!!! The skirt is TDF on you Dianthus! Absolutely gorgeous. And I love the simple but elegant pairing with the white button down shirt. As for footwear, I actually like both the booties and the pointy oxfords so am no help there - I'll leave that to others.

Wow the skirt is stunning and I love the white blouse with it. Both shoe choices look great, but I think I'd pick the oxfords to give a longer leg line.

preference for the booties. love the gold trim on the heel. the oxfords strike me as "going to the sock hop". that skirt is so much more subtle that i imagined from the previous thread. love it.

Shannon, thanks very much. I am loving the skirt but realized that adding another one would be overkill and wouldn't add a new element to my wardrobe but just substitute for something I have. I decided on the polka dot version of the skirt because it seemed a bit less formal and our office is extremely casual.

Thanks Missvee and Carole. I debated but the booties seemed right this morning. I am thinking I will wear the skirt with a black t-neck or t and a deep eggplant leather jacket next and will see how the oxfords look with that pairing.

BJ, aren't the details nice? The booties also have a little gold emblem - very subtle but interesting. I used the find option for Nordstrom but bought the booties from Lord & Taylor since they had a 20% off code.

I found the oxfords at 6pm while looking for something for Firecracker when she was searching. They are unbelievably comfortable. They are fully lined with soft leather and have a thick cushion under foot that is a bit thicker in the instep. I plan to wear them tomorrow with a pair of zara pants I bought last week in TO
