I have been finding the most fantastic things at second hand stores lately and it time to take a deep breath and figure out which are wearable by me, and which really belong to someone else.

1. Featuring a Kenneth Cole denim jacket with faux fur lining. I think I have been looking at too many Gucci inspired pictures but I wore this today. I changed from #2 because I thought the blue pants didn't look right, but not sure I made the right choice. Also featuring LisaP/Suz H&M shirt.

#3/4 I don't think these photos do this jacket justice. It is vintage Claude Montana and manages to look very current to my eye. I thrifted these JBrand skinnies with leather inserts the same week I found this jacket so of course I thought they went together. Need a better shirt.

#5 And finally, I do not what has become of me but what do you say about this vintage coat!

Will be pleased to hear what you think about any or all including styling ideas and/or suggestions to remove from my wardrobe!

Love! Isn't the jacket in #1 fun! I think I prefer the lighter trousers to those in #2 as I think they pick up on the tones in the furry trim. The Coat in #3/4 is gorgeous as is the one in #5. You've made some great purchases Jaime!

Excellent haul! I bet you could do a nice spin of double denim with that first jacket. The Montana is *very* close in cut to a coat pattern of his I made over ten years ago, and I agree, it's a deathless classic. That last one - well. Just fabulous! But isn't it a little warm for where you live?

Are you kidding? Sheesh, you have never looked better. Your thrifting is paying off but I cannot tell you to get rid of anything!

I love the lining of that first jacket with "our" blouse -- it's amazing. With my intimate knowledge of the blouse I can easily imagine how it picks up all the colours. I like the outfit with either colour of pant (one of the nice things about that shirt, really).

And the coats!!!! They are fantastic, both of them. The Montana is totally current to my eye, and the second one is a PARTY coat. Good heavens.

I was going to say the same thing as Suz - the last coat is a party coat. I think the second jacket looks current with the mixed media. The fur lined jacket is fun and casual. You had a great haul and the pieces seem to mix nicely with what you already have in your wardrobe. It's hard to say that anything should go.

I LOVE #5. Wow. What a Killer to the power of Killer stunning vintage coat! That's the most festive coat I've seen all year. Rock on.

And of course your other outfits are fabulus too - but I am fixated on the vintage coat. Need to recover.

You found some great things - love #1 and #5 (hard to tell about the other coat because I can't really see it) and would wear either one of these festive coats.

I thought about denim on denim but already felt a bit over the top with the fur and pattern - maybe next time.

I would love to see your Montana pattern coat if you still have it. Timeless is just the word for this one. As for the coat being a bit warm for the climate, see below where it was made!
Suz, Sara and Donna yes, that coat is all dressed up with no place to go. I will just have to overdress for some occasions next month.

Angie and everyone, you will not believe that the party coat was made in Israel, by Israel Coat, LTD Tel Aviv. I have yet to dig up any information on it but I am looking.

These are all fantastic! I like both options in 1 and 2, just different looks. The blue pants, being darker and longer, give a slightly more classic feel to the outfit, perhaps more office-worthy. I'm in awe of the last coat. I think it would be great for any dress-up occasion. Doesn't have to be a party; wear it to the symphony. The mixed media one looks luxe and current. I like that whole outfit--it has a cosmopolitan chic look to me.

I can't believe how current that Montana jacket looks (the vintage Montana items I have come across had gigantic, unwearable, shoulder pads).

I had the same reservation as Liz re the vintage coat because it looks like sheepskin on my monitor. Otherwise, great romantic piece, cut for a Dr Zhivago remake

My favourite is the fur jacket (strangely, since I don't like denim jackets at all) - looks more Gucci in #2, with sunglasses and brown leather bag - have you tried with cream pants, to pick up the fur colour?

Sharan you are on my wavelength - the coat is probably coming to the opera in January with me.
Merwoman I know, isn't the fit uncanny - it could almost be a dress.
Cerinda this is the interesting thing, there is no content label but the panels seem to be made of regular leather alternating with furry (calf) skin. I am going to venture a guess that it is actually lamb/sheep skin, which makes more sense for a lot of reasons. Not sure about the fur but I am going to say also from sheep? I need to research it more.
Skylurker you are incredible. Yes I think it is sheepskin too, it won't be too warm for me in 40s or 50s (below 15C or so) as I run cold, yes I have another vintage Montana piece that is exactly as you describe (planning to sell), yes the sunglasses were the most Gucci thing about the outfit in my opinion too (vintage Ted Lapidus) and yes you pick up things on computer monitors that most people don't notice in real life.
Rachy and Coco, perhaps I should commission some knock offs!

That coat! I did a double take because I have something very similar in dark green suede. My husband says I look like a movie star in it (he likes it better than my sack dresses and tissue paper jeans ). But you look much more like a movie star with your super glamorous hair! Love all these outfits. Very original and chic.

You have a great eye for thrifting, and, apparently, a great shop to visit! Most importantly, you're looking great and having fun with fashion! I love each and every outfit, and agree that the lighter trousers are better with the denim jacket.

Oh my <fans self>, these are all ace! I'd keep if you have wardrobe space and occasion to wear. Nothing comes as well made these days as vintage items, and these all look AH-mazing on you. The lighter pants and Suz-Lisa twin blouse are made to be paired with that denim jacket. Great finds all round!

Sheepskin it is. So my next question is : how heavy is it ?
I don't like to carry a heavy coat, I'm lazy that way
Now I remember you frequently go to NYC and you probably need a warm coat - but if it weighs a ton, you might not want to carry it with you.
