WIW - Purple and White - 07/18/12

Nothing fancy lovely ladies,
I am enjoying my newish white denim AE jacket (I looked forever for a nice soft one). I have teamed it with my newish black capri -( Talbots) and my purple ballet tee (JCREW) plus my white watch and black wedge sandals. It's a comfortable outfit and I hope you like it!

Aha, MaryK! No wonder I forgot that one- it's a virtue that I'm completely lacking! But Meredith, it sounds like you were quite patient in the search or your nice soft jacket, and it paid off!

Yes, my new white jacket is like cuddling in a blanket (a very soft blanket) The crops are coming in handy and the sandals, well I wish I could find a nude pair similar to these.

I am all about comfort! I can't stand stiff uncomfortable clothing. Thank you so much for the nice words. I never wore purple much until I let my hair go silvery. I did indeed have to be "patient" to find the jacket.

I really like it. Simple, practical and fun. I also like the gradual color transition from bright top to dark bottom. Because you wear capris, this feels very summery.

Isn't it great when you find the *right* piece? This jacket is perfection and I hope you'll enjoy it for many years to come.

Btw, you come up with such wonderful color combinations and I'm always attracted to them. Purple and white - I *must* try that soon!

Another great outfit in black, white and colour (after Amy's today) --- I really must learn to do this at home!

Meredith, something about these proportions makes you look so tall and willowy --- long of leg (crops and a diagonal sandal strap?) *and* long of waist (the cropped jacket?). What a winner!
