WIW - Project 333 Week 2 - YouLookFab Forum

Hi there, here are my WIWs this week. Still loving the ink/navy. A few "cheat" notes:

Due to unexpectedly cool weather and a laundry situation, I ended up adding my chambray button-up into the mix yesterday - that said, I still haven't worn my cobalt tank or teal t-shirt, either of my sundresses. or my black shorts - as the summer is predicted to continue as it has, I think I will swap in the chambray for the cobalt tank, which is unlikely to get much wear. I actually ended up throwing on the navy sweater as the day got cooler.
Again due to weather, I had to wear a raincoat yesterday - I started with a black "gearish" one but switched out to a navy trench as I really noticed the skin-flattery difference. This may stay in the mix again if the weather insists on continuing, bringing total # up to 34.
With the help and encouragement of you Fabbers, I found a replacement from my navy shirt dress, which you can see in the last photo - it's basically a t-shirt in dress format. Perfect for me! I suspect this one will more than earn its keep.

Love the new T-shirt dress! It has lots of scope for creative styling. Also love that tank top in photo #4 - even though your weather isn't accommodating it! The knee-length shorts are a good style for you.

Once again, great outfits. I love the knit dress in navy - very flattering on your body and showcase your gorgeous legs to perfection.

These simple, cohesive outfits are really honing your styling skills. I do believe that wearing only 33 items for 3 months will make you identify your own style preferences and help you streamline your look. I can already see a pattern here - casual and comfortable with a soft feminine touch.

I'm honestly tempted to do this myself! I think I do long for the simplicity of opening my closet and having only a limited options to wear----hence no confusion.

Ah, the weather! Yes, its unpredictability where we live can really hamper a super strict interpretation of 333. I would say if you are adding in out of *need* it is perfectly legit. I had to go buy a scarf when we were in Stratford on the weekend. I had brought all the wrong clothes! Weather was unexpectedly cool at first and I was ill prepared.

I understand you so much! Preparing a capsule for hot days,imaging yourself in a light dress and sunglasses... And then rainy days and jeans. That's why I made a special capsule for unexpectingly cool summer. I'll post it in a while.
