Good morning fab ladies,

I commented on Maneera's post yesterday that I have a similar formula using slim pants and a longish sweater. My version is often with a faux leather or waxed denim bottom instead of leggings. I use a longer sweater instead of a tunic because I am short in the torso and find the tunic length cuts me in half. To my eye, the low hip length results in better proportions (ON ME). I would appreciate feedback on the proportion issue as this is an area that seems to plague me a bit.

I noticed on the way into the office that my outfit goes from white at top to black at the bottom with soft grey and charcoal in between.

I plan to wear similar outfits with the ankle boots and tall books as we get further into the cool weather. I will also add a leather jacket if our new office setting is cool.

My focus is shifting away from fashion these days. I moved into a new house two years ago and we have decided to renovate the lower level to add a media room, mini kitchen, large bedroom with WIC and a 3 piece bath. There will also be a home gym. We have the plan finalized and are getting quotes from contractors over the next two weeks. I hope to have it complete before my winter vacation on Jan 1.

Feedback and comments always welcome.
