The weather is definitely getting cooler in the mornings and evenings. Yesterday I wore the black and white patterned Alice and Olivia silk top and J Crew black drapy shorts all afternoon, but when I went to a welcome dinner at my daughter's school, I broke out the Trouve jacket afterward. Ankle strap flats from Yoox. I had, but forgot to photograph, my neon yellow Rebecca Minkoff small tote. Not sure about the ankle strap with this look, maybe a bit too cutesy... it's removable and I might remove it next time.
First thing this morning, school registration. I always feel like I want to look un-preppy for these events, so I broke out the Rebecca Taylor leather/jacquard moto, Reiss silk front blush tee, AG prima jeans, J Crew zipper shoes, Tory Burch satchel and Illesteva sunglasses. Should I have worn a patterned top instead of a solid?
