Ladies, I had a blast today at the circus! The theme of the show was "Dragons", so I knew I had a chance to wear my dragon shoes, which don't get out much. I paired them with a fan necklace to echo the Chinese vibe. To top it off, there's a new bun in town, inspired by Wonder Woman, Season 2. I'm still learning from all of you, and my style is a fledgling one, but I am definitely having fun playing with fashion! Thanks for any comment you care to make.

Your hairdo is so cool! How does it stay up? (I am so mystified by hairdos, mine will only stay up with giant clips.)

Don't laugh, but I thought the nose was an apple or something on the tree behind you! Cute dragon themed items! They look great with the Chinese red of your top. I'm glad you had fun at the circus!

Diana - thanks for likin' the 'do. Big clips are not necessary, just lots and lots of bobby pins. Tutorial coming soon. There's also an easier bun based on a ponytail.

AJ - Thanks for your great words of kindness. I tried the outfit with bermudas, albeit not dressy ones, but with those shoes it stumpified my short legs something awful. I'll give it some more thought, thanks for the idea. And yes, Wonder Woman wears different buns in Season 2. And some ponytails, so I will have lots of things to try. My next one will be a loose bun as shown here. Yes, I am a geek.

Rae, yeah that necklace is amazing. Each little piece has an etching on it of an Asian scene like a pagoda, or a flower, or some boats. Even the clasp has a little design etched into it. Such craftsmanship. It makes me want to DIY etch an Altoids tin, just so I can learn how it is done. Someday...
