WIW - a week of dresses

I realised a few days ago that I had 5 dresses I have been wearing this season, one for each day of the week So I decided to do just that last week, wear one of the dresses each day.

Some of the outfits make me happier than others and I definitely have two favourites and one that I'm not in love with, especially with the way I wore it on the particular day. Before I share my pros and cons, I'd love your thoughts.

It is a very monochrome palette, I know! I think I need to look at a splash more colour here and there! Apparently, monochrome has become my thing... So say the girls at work

I like the monochromatic palette on you, and I think you look good in all of these outfits. My personal favourites are 1, 2 and 4. The scarf in #1 is beautiful against your dark dress. Interested to hear what your own feelings on the dresses are.

Great collection of dark neutral pieces! All outfits look very nice on you. The scarf in 1 does bring some light to your face - I like the pale but muted pink and greens.

Oooh dresses are my thing so I loved this. I really liked the first 4 looks but wasn't feeling the last on you as much. I think the two prints were my favourites. Lovely!

I am in love with the two print dresses (2 and 3) but also really like #1 on you. Really interested to hear how you felt about the outfits.

Do they say it like it's a BAD thing? Maybe they're starting to recognize your signature style?

I say this because my friend in choir, who has varied and eclectic taste in colours, used to rib me about wearing black and grey all the time. One day I gave in and added some bright red just to keep her quiet. What did she wear? Black and grey! If you own it, make it work for you,

Nothing wrong with neutrals if they feel right and make you happy. My favorites are 2 & 3, the prints. You look great in dresses

I too like the print dresses , but I also love the maxi with the scarf. Waiting for you to reveal your favorites...

I like them all! My favorites are 2, 3, 4 in that order. I find them super flattering on you, they look current to me, and they are great work looks. I also really like 1 and 5, though, for more casual looks. They are really fun. I'm liking your longer hair, too, though I also adored the short cut. You are lucky to wear it so well at very different lengths!

Thanks for all the responses and apologies for the delay in my reply. I typed something out and proceeded to lose it!!!

So my least favourite was 5. I think ultimately I only wore it because it because I wanted to complete the challenge and needed to dress it down for casual Friday.

1 is a really old and well worn FFBO and I need to shop for a replacement. I've always found thus dress very versatile. 4 worked, but I'm a bit bored with the shape.

2 & 3 were my favourites!

Loved to see your monochromatic dress week:-), and longer hair is great, too! Nr 2 is my fave, but loved the oldie nr 1, too! For nr 5 will suggest to try an inversely patterned leggings, too-darker background and grey animal patches on it-I absolutelly loved the ideea of a patterned leggings to it!
