So I know many fashion magazines often have crazy photo spreads. Well I present to you Title Nine's suggestions. It's a retailer that specializes in active wear.
I don't know about you but I always go snow tubing in a skirt & tights. And don't forget that special outfit for climbing trees, a sweater dress & leggings.
So make sure you are fashionably prepared for all your winter activities.

Have to chuckle.

I always laugh at the pool photo shots the most. I love swimming and will do so in front of most people cellulite and all. But I have so many friends who won't swim because they are too self conscious or who dive in as quickly as possible with no parading on the side of the pool in a skimpy bikini, beaded footwear etc... And I never see heels being worn around the pool either.

And the string bikinis are so great for keeping in place as you dive in!!

I guess whatever looks good for the photo

Well, I like both outfits, even if the poses are ridiculous. I almost bought red Sorels a few years ago. Instead I bought dusty plum (and have since dyed them black).

I was just wondering what to wear for tree-climbing. Now I know!
I didn't know people used inner tubes outside of water, though.

Well if I could climb straight up a tree I guess I would want a special outfit - perhaps one with a spiderman motif.

Ha, she is totally going to fall out of that tree. That's the weirdest tree climbing stance I've ever seen!

ETA: and what's up with the wreath slung over her left shoulder?

Their catalog is funny, too. This is Frieda. She's a pharmacologist, active kayaker and brings 3 cats with her out on the river. In her skirt.

The tree climbing one is wacky, I agree. But if I was still living at 9000 ft. in the Rockies, in a winter wonderland kind of town, I might be interested in the skirt in the first photo. It could be a fun thing to throw on over the thermals when I didn't want to wear snow pants, and yes, I might even wear it tubing if I ever went tubing in the daytime and not just on chilly nights once the ski area closes down.

But Anna, I do buy my sweater dresses especially for climbing trees -what else are they intended for???? And, I just bought me some thermal butt-vest esp. to match my snowboard!! :-))

Those must be some space-age heated tights!
