Hi Fabbers!
My participation on the forum has been sketchy becoz I was visiting my sister in Mumbai the last week. I got back late Monday evening.
I absolutely LOVE shopping with my sister. We always have such a ball!
I refrained from mindless shopping on this trip. I stocked up on home-wear basics mostly, because that's what I needed to replace. Shorts, yoga pants, tees etc.
On my shopping list was a white bag. Now I've bought white bags before...and always managed to pass them on without much use. While I love the *idea* of a white bag for summers, I find maintaining white totes particularly hard.
I've also noticed that I prefer using satchels to totes. I don't carry my world around with me, and a large bag just feels "fussy". Medium sized satchels with some structure are my favourite kind of bags these days.
When I saw this bag, it was love at first sight. It was slightly pricey compared to what I had in mind, but I knew this was THE ONE! It has a long adjustable shoulder strap too, because I like to be hands-free while I'm shopping, but I also like to carry a satchel in my hand when I go out for dinner.
The subtle print & texture make this bag a lot easier to maintain. The bluish-grey pattern actually adds to the beauty of this bag, in my opinion. I can't wait to take it out!
Bonus: My sister gifted me these Forever 21 sandals. I like the block heel & ankle strap - they're comfy to wear. And the white with contrast black piping & heel gives these an edge I like.
