Oh, I think you should (!) I wear 4s and 6s; they're often so close...

I think this dress is stunning in you - both ways. I can't comment as to how it fits in the budget but I look you look gorgeous it!

Great idea to try the size up, Rachy!

I think the next size up will be too big--the dress already looks like it's the right size in the shoulders and is appropriately low in the chest.

After reading all the comments and looking at your pics, I'm a bit torn. Like a previous poster, my opinions are coloured by the price tag and for the kind of garment that price is getting. Somehow, the dress looks too casual to my eye to cost so much, though I would understand the price tag for a formal gown, structured piece, coat, etc. If it cost, say $200-300, I would jump at the chance. The colour and flow are beautiful, and are a nice change from more structured sheath silhouettes, though. But I wouldn't purchase it if I didn't plan on wearing it primarily as is--no leggings, no toppers.

Janet's distinction about loving the idea of the dress vs wearing it is spot on. If you have the patience/time, maybe hang on to the dress and revisit it in a month.

Personal opinion here. I like it as a dress, but not "winterized".

I like it as a dress, but less so as a tunic. It is beautiful, but quite honestly, I prefer the dresses on your other thread (your NAS thread) over this one. It might be nice to keep as it is definitely less classic/more arty, but only you can decide if the price tag is worth that.

I think the style is so you. And the colors are really good with your hair and skin tone. I think it looks modern and elegant. Let us know what yiu decide.

I don't know about worthiness for you, but love it both ways, especially nr 2 looks gorgeous new wave to my eyes, wow!
