I decided to pull the trigger on the plaid e-Shakti dress, and I'm happy I did. The material is a weighty, flannel-like brushed cotton that I think will be wearable in all but the hottest part of summer.

I styled it three ways while trying on, for different seasons.

Pic #1: Fall/winter version, with cognac knee-high boots and navy sweater.

Pic #2: Late spring/early summer version with my new Bed Stu sandals, which I can't wait to wear for real. You know how sometimes you get a new wardrobe and it's -instantly- yours? As if it had already been part of your wardrobe for years? That's how I felt when I put on these sandals. I feel like they add a little boho touch to a more preppy-looking dress. (My hair, which will never be particularly "kempt" does this too, I think.)

Pic #3: Autumn/early spring styling with Frye oxfords and optional sweater. I'll probably be doing this fairly soon!

Thoughts? Any you like better than others?
