White layers with white wide leg cropped jeans, off white top, white lace undershirt, bone platforms and woven bag. I like how the tan platform color works with the tan handle and inner pouch of this bag, so will wear these shoes and bag together a lot this summer.

I like this outfit but I’m still not sure about all white for me. It feels like something is missing, maybe I’ve just gotten used to having value contrast? Maybe I look like Mr. Clean!. I will wear it today and see if I can adjust to it.

I’m also have having an issue with these jeans which I wore on repeat all last summer — they are puckering in a few places near the zipper. Does this look like the spandex has worn out? I will be looking for a replacement so any suggestions on jeans this style are welcome. It’s funny to me that when I first put these on last spring, they seemed so wide and now they feel normal.

I know what you mean about that type of puckering by the zipper. I think it might be a spandex problem, as you mentioned. I had that eventually happen to an old pair of white jeans. I tried pressing and dry cleaning. No luck. So I wore longer tops that covered the puckering up for a while. Then I passed them on.

You look really fab in all white, nothing is missing. However, I have that feeling too when I wear all white, as a cool-toned, silver-haired sister. I feel like I need contrast in my outfits.

You’re right Star, we can look blah very easily without contrast, but I do notice in these outfits, the skin provides a little contrast. Ideally maybe adding a darker bag and necklace would make all the difference.

You look great in whiteout! I’ve observed that texture plays an important role in all-one-colour outfits. A lacy or nubbly textured top (like Janet’s lace/crochet tank top) for example.

Super fab outfit! I think you wear the white-out look beautifully. I can empathize with your feeling of something missing (I feel the same in all white), but I really do not see that effect at all on you. My first thought was: stunning!

Sharan, I wore this most of the day and home and liked it, but had to change to pick mulberries from our tree. It has lots of fruit this year but very juicy and stains everything. My lifestyle doesn’t mix well with white.

I would like myself a white cropped wide leg jeans, too-just didn't find one which is not that heavy (which I hate for summer)! Love the top here, perfect layerings! Sandals and bag are mind boggling!

You wear it well, especially with your hair, but I understand the feeling. I used to have a great pair of pale grey and white plaid crops with thin silver threads throughout, and I wore them with a white eyelet top and silver sandals. All many years ago, pre YLF. That’s as close as I’ve gotten to white out, I think ever, except for my wedding dress! LOL I think Carla is right that some texture or false plain pattern can give the interest that feels otherwise a little absent in so much solid color.

I’ve had that puckering thing happen to my stretchy jeans after years of wear — it usually meant they were soon destined to be given away.
