After far too long of hunting I think I've found the perfect bag for my new job. Pretty, unfussy, large enough to fit what I need on an average day, small enough to stop me loading it with things I don't need.

The only problem is I can't decide between the navy and the brown.

I love, love the navy and was about to buy it when I realised that the majority of what I wear is some shade of blue and I don't want to look like a smurf! I found some photos on Pinterest of women wearing shades of blue and navy with navy bags and it did look very nice, and I wear plenty that's not blue as well. I like the modern, slightly quirky twist on a quite classic bag. But I worry that I might think it's great now but I may get tired of it eventually. And will it work in the summer?

Then I looked back at the brown and now I really like that too. I wonder whether it would blend with more of my non-bluey outfits, and provide a little pop of contrast against the cooler colours? And maybe work with summer colours and neutrals. And be in a neutral colour that I won't get bored of. But I worry that if I pick this one it's because I'm playing safe!

Which would you pick?
