Finding the items you need at the right price

Where will you look for your new cute wallet?

Has anyone here looked at Fred Meyer?

I got a cute pink one many years ago at Freddies. Just wondered if any of you Pacific Northwesterners have looked there.

Or Target?

The cute wallet that I got for my birthday was from White House Black Market. I haven't looked at Fred Meyer but I'll bet they would have a good selection.

I'm definitely planning on getting a new wallet. I'm not sure where yet, though. I'm going to Nordstrom tomorrow, I might check out what they have.

I've seen the cutest ones at smaller stores, little neighborhood boutiques, gift-y stores... often at very reasonable prices.

DSW had a great selection of the Lodis knockoffs this fall. I've been eyeballing the hard clutch wallets since it was only Lodis at Nordstroms, but of course now that they're everywhere, I'm thinking a smaller foldover wallet might be more practical for me.

I will probably start looking somewhere like TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I've gotten a couple of purses there that I really like, but I've never looked at their wallets. I have a boring black wallet, but Angie's post inspired me to look for something new!

I second Violet. When I look for a new wallet I go to TJMaxx and then Marshalls. I currently have a gorgeous dark red eelskin wallet (God bless the poor eel :() that my grandmother gave me several years ago. I would never purchase it myself for various reasons, but since I have it, I'm using it.

I went to Nordstrom yesterday for other things, but checked out the wallet section while I was there. Online has a better selection. I think I will go the route of Violet and Sarbear and look at Ross or TJ Maxx, and also keep my eye open at little boutiques and things as Antje suggested.
