Hello All,

I'm brand new to YLF & really to style in general. I know that seems strange, but for the first 40some years I really couldn't care too much about style. (aside from my punk years in the early 80's

I'm starting to change & don't know where to start. This is the first place, I guess. The ironic thing is that I am from Seattle & moved to the South a year ago. If I were still there I'd be hiring Angie in a minute to come & help me.

to give you an idea of who I am:
42, former education professional - now SAHM. silver hair (by choice - will not dye), hourglass figure verging on plus size, 5'5".

typical outfit
bootcut jeans
tank layered under a blouse
used to wear dansko's everyday practically when I lived in Seattle
now mostly a woven sandal - you can wear open toe shoes almost year round in the south it seems.

jewelry is always simple - mostly silver hoop earrings.

just the thought of 'styling' a complete outfit leaves me speechless. Where should I start to slowly introduce more style into my everyday? (sadly I don't really HAVE to look good for carpool pickup).

looking forward to learning as I go. Any direction would be great. thanks all.
