I would like a pair of leggings to wear in the winter with boots and such, but I see SO many people walking around with leggings that appear stretched past their limit on big legs + thighs that they look transparent.

Being as I have the same big legs, I wanted to know what's working for others - I will be wearing tunic length shirts with them, not to work or anything, but want them to look like they aren't hosiery.

If I could get away with it, I'd wear some compression capris from the run store, but they always look to have a bit of shimmer...but you can't beat that secure compressed jiggle feeling :).
