When is Nordstrom's end of season sale for Fall and Winter clothing?

I live about 1.5 hours away from the closest Nordstrom and am planning a shopping road trip with some friends this fall (so excited!) to stock up on fall/winter clothing. I'd love to plan it for when Nordstrom has it's end of season sale.

Does this happen on the same weekend every year, like the 2nd weekend of November, etc.? Or do you know how I could find out when it is this year?

Hi MrsK, Nordies has their big Anniversary sale in July. That is mostly fall and winter clothing. The only other big sales they have are close-outs of previous season merchendise, known as the "Half Yearly Sales for Women and Kids" (there is a separate one for men). That one was around Labor Day this year, and was mostly leftover from the Anniversary sale and summer close-outs.

They do have sale merchandise year round, it's just not an event.

The next official sale event is likely in May, FWIW. There will probaby be lots of goodies in early December, too. Nordies doesn't do any holiday decorating until after TG, but they do start bringing in holiday stuff in November/October, just like everyone else.

Oh, ok, thanks, Jenava. I saw a post from Angie in early Nov 2013 for this end of season sale and thought it was an annual event.

I do know about the annual sale in late spring/early summer, but since I live in Florida, it doesn't make sense for me to shop for winter clothing so early - end of season is just in time for us!

Nordstrom usuall does have a half-yearly sale in November for fall/winter clothes but I couldn't find any dates on their website for 2014. You might call your nearest store to see if there will be one this fall. Good luck!

Under the Rewards program, there are double and triple rewards points days listed. Usually the double points days coincide with the first two days of a sale. There are double points scheduled on 5 and 6 November, so that might be the beginning of a sale.

The next half-yearly is in November (at least, it has been for the past few years).
