What's on the way? turning into a dress girl

I'm not about to give up jeans or skirts, but I'm definitely loving dresses these days. I started considering a beautiful Nordstrom dress that Shannon posted about, then considered my budget and thought better of it. I've been on SYC for the last month or two but since hubby sold something and gave me a bit of money to play with, I ordered these things instead:

Then I checked out Christopher & Banks. Yes, I know of their reputation for older ladies clothes but they have some great dresses online that never get to their store fronts. You can find cute ones if you are discerning. I hope I chose well.

Those are some really cute styles you picked! I can't wait to see how you style them! I have 3 tops and two pairs of cropped pants from Talbots on the way to me to try and see if I like them!

These are great !!! I NEVER think of going to Kohl's, but those dresses are fab ( and I am going to go to Kohls to check some of those out, thank you. )

As for CBanks, I say never totally write off a store. Sometimes things surprise you.

These look good, I hope they work out. I bought a Michael Kors dress at Nordstrom that was posted by Natalie (goldenpig) a couple of weeks ago; with sales and adjustments the price ended up being $49, and I really enjoyed wearing it so I have several more dresses on the way.

Sh-h-h-h, but I have ten shirts/blouses and four dresses on the way from Lands End. I ordered two different sizes where I could and ordered the same colored blue shirt in different cuts. I expect to return at least 2/3s.

This afternoon, I am returning 2/3 of an order from Talbots. I found a white shirt that didn't pull at the bust, but the other three white shirts are going back. One skirt style was like the three bears: One size was too small and the next size up was too big. And in another skirt, I am a P2 and in a third skirt style I am a P4. I'm so, so glad I ordered everything in two sizes.

Your Kohls top is tempting, but I have to remind myself how little I wear sleeveless stuff. This morning, my heat kicked on because the room with the thermostat had opened windows, so the temperature dropped below 62 degrees! So I ended up lowering the thermostat even more and rushing around like a mad woman to close those windows. Who wants to pay for heat in the summer?

Great choices Brenda! The two CB dresses look especially lovely, I can't wait to see them. Hope all the other items work out too! I feel like dresses are easier than skirts this season; maybe all of the persistent rain is dampening my creatvity heh.

On the way to me I have an emerald blouse and a bright orange linen shirt, hopefully the last of my needs for spring/summer

Those dresses look very promising! I think my favorite is the first, Can't wait to see them on.

I just got two boxes in the mail this evening that I haven't opened yet.

Also on its way is a box from Deb Shops (Juniors Store) with a white denim vest, short sleeve cropped jacket, and some shorts length leggings for under dresses
