I can't wear pumps or ballet flats as they won't stay on my feet. I am still finding it difficult to find shoes to wear with skirts and have been wearing the same two pairs of boots all winter. Now that Spring is here I am concerned that I will have nothing to wear. I did buy a pair of navy Mary Janes (Hush Puppies) last year but I feel frumpy in them. I also need to wear lower heels now too. My friend has no problem with shoes and always has the latest styles and looks fantastic in them. She can't understand why I have such problems. I don't feel such a freak now knowing there are others with the same problems.

Forgot to mention that I can't wear shoes without socks or tights as I get sore feet and blisters. If I wear sandals they have to be really soft leather.

I'll join the crowd with a wide forefoot and narrow heel that can't keep pumps or ballet flats on. I also have low/no arches, i.e., a low volume foot so buying wide width shoes is not a complete solution but adding an arch or heel orthotic sometimes helps. In addition to bunions, I also have hallux rigidus on one foot, so that means low heeled shoes that don't flex. Just about any shoe is difficult for me to get a fit.

Tall boots are probably the most difficult because in addition to the issues above, I'm short so I need a 13 to 14" height and I have very muscular calves but relatively small ankles. I've given up on tall boots, but I don't really need them anyway because I live in California.

Sandals are probably the easiest because they may be adjustable at the forefoot, over the arch, and at the heel. Unfortunately, I have Raynaud's Syndrome in my toes as well as my fingers so they tend to turn purple if it is under 70 degrees.

Ok, now I have a serious answer. Slip on lace-less sneakers. I have stiff high arches, slender heels and ankles, and I cannot walk in them because the heels pop off. Two other shoes I have a hard time with - ballerina flats, and pointy toe anything.
