what to wear when you are big ??

I am a little bit big for my age and I was wondering what I could wear to events or just going out??
Any ideas on what I could wear?
I LOVE jeans and I am self conscious about my legs so I am not a short person.

Well I am a curvy girl as I like to call it and I wear everything. The key is find brands that work for you because even being curvy there are curvy brands that do not work for me. You need to experiment experiment experiment.
Also I have the craziest lower body and have come to piece with it. I don't have many pants because every single pair of pants I buy usually needs close to $40 dollars of tailoring at the waist.
I will say for a big retailer Nordstroms has a great plus size department.
I am super lucky to live in MN and have a wonderful plus size boutique in town, that sells some amazing clothes.
