Pretty watches Rena and Jean! They suit you perfectly.

Watches are amongst my favourite accessories. I wear this one EVERY DAY. It’s in every single photo that you see of me on this blog:

Mine is extremely simple; a small silver braille watch that I had transfered onto a silver stretchy bracelet-style strap. Most blind-guy-friendly watches are absurdly huge and made of plastic, so this elegant classic style was a real find. Plus I don't want one of the talking watches that disrupt meetings and draw unnecessary attention onto me when I could just flip up the face of this one and read the time discretely with my fingers.

I haven't embraced the watch-wearing 100% yet. I do have a white pleather/gold watch I purchased at Marshalls last year, but I don't wear it very often. Still on the look-out for the watch that begs me to wear it every day.

Here is mine:

I like that it's simple, looks like a men's watch and kind of old style :)

Here's my workhorse (Casio Baby G):

I'd like to get a white one. I've had my clear one for awhile and it's getting a bit dingy. But it's the watch that will never die :)

My fancy watch is a Movado Esperanza:

I like how it mixes silver and gold.

I usually always have a watch on but this summer have barely worn one.
My favs are a white watch and a large faced black strapped one. I've just bought a silver man's pocket watch to wear as a pendant on a long chain which i think will become my favourite. Will post pics once my computers up and running x

I love men's watches, the ones that you have to wind up with dials, not digital. When I was a teenager I used to wear my dad's old watches. I like how chunky they are. A few years ago I upgraded to Tissot Le Locle mechanic watch very similar to the one on this link:

I have a red Swatch watch where the strap goes around twice. I have been wearing it daily for over the last 7 years or so. I recently bought a silver band watch whose name I forget and can't access right now and am looking forward to wearing that for dressier occasions or when I need something other than red.

I've been thinking about getting a mens watch to contrast with my primarily feminine/romantic style.

I wear the same watch every day, and wear it for years. I just got a new watch this summer! My old watch I've worn since Dec 2005. New watch is a pretty Bulova ... with a delicate, feminine, scalloped band.

I've heard good things about ToyWatch.

This one, but with a red band:

I love watches with large faces and simple numbers, but it's hard to find a watch with an oversized face and a band that's also small enough for my wrist. Maybe I should look more at men's watches and replace the band.

Here is my current favorite, a Fossil "boyfriend" watch with very simple face and bezel: http://i649.photobucket.com/al.....G_0336.jpg

Medusa, my man and I recently bought this watch for him, which is just what you describe: http://www.wristzonewatches.co.....-watch.htm

AND, you just measure your wrist and they will size it to fit you (free of charge) before they ship it (also free of charge).

My favourite watch at the moment is my christian dior braclet watch. It has a lovely pearly face. I got it for my 21st (quite a few years ago now) and it still looks fab.

I don't have pics of all my watches but I rotate often:

a classic Seiko stainless/gold sport model

Skagen wide oblong face with black lizard strap

Fossil square face (white back with embossed face) with white strap

Vintage Hamilton with brown strap that I "borrow" from hubby

Since this new work uniform thing has come up, watches are one of the elements I can play with. I plan to hunt down a few more this Fall (birthday!).

i haven't quite embraced the watch so wholeheartedly as an accessory -- i have a brown leather band and a silver boyfriend-style watch that i love, but i can love 'em or leave 'em really. is that terrible? i love the look on others! you guys have some gorgeous timepieces.
