What is your favorite jeans brand?

I am looking for a new jean(s) . My favourite brand was a NYDJ for some time. But lately I feel kind of frumpy in them. They fit well but does not make me feel fabulous. What brand of jeans would you suggest for a woman with a changing body ?

I'm not sure I can suggest a brand for your body type, but I like Gap jeans and Ann Taylor Loft relaxed skinnies.

NYDJ fit me well, too, but the super high rise isn't necessarily what I want all the time. My fit issue is chunky thighs and calves, probably a size or two bigger than my trunk, as well as a small waist, so this may not be your fit issue. I have found good fits in Big Star and Jag. I need Petite sizing, so this limits my choices.

I've never really tried much in the way of premium denim, but there's not much available in Petites, and otherwise the fading is just wrong.

Maybe you can post describing your body type/fit issues so you can get better suggestions? For many women NYDJ don't fit at all, so maybe my suggestions will work.

Yep, tell us your usual fit issues and what cut of jean you're looking for...skinny, straight, flare, trouser, boot, distressed or not. I've found so many differences within brands that you'll get more accurate info if we know exactly what type of body you need to fit and what shape/vibe you're going for.

What will work for you will really depend on your body type. And the style you're looking for. I don't have any one favourite -- but I like my jeans by Citizens of Humanity (low rise skinnies); Rag and Bone (slim boyfriends); Kut from the Kloth (skinnies); Banana Republic (slouchy skinnies); True Religion (boyfriends), and J. Crew (sized up toothpicks).

I suggest you find a whole bunch and try them all on! My favourites are 1921's; although only their vintage styles. I usually wear Zara jeans these days!

I've had success with Target's Mossimo brand, Old Navy (pear-shaped me likes the Sweetheart and Flirt cuts), Lucky Brand, and Kut from the Kloth. Not to mention a variety of Gap and other brands via the thrift store.

Long term love for Levi 505's. Recent happiness with Mark's Work Warehouse Hanna cut. (I'm an hourglass with apple tendencies--and like the wider waistband, and just below the belly button rise.)

I am currently in Kut and Big Star and very happy. The Kuts are comfy and on trend and the Big Star make me feel fabulous! I also wear H&M jeans when I want something quick.

I am a pretty pear shape and enjoy: ATL Modern Fit, Gap Sexy Boot and Always Straight, Lucky Brand Sweet n Straight and Sweet n Low, and Joe's Petite Provocateur. Good luck shopping!

It's best to try on as many styles and sizes as possible. For my changed body I have had most success with Kut Diana and Catherine and Gap
skinny, which have a high enough rise but not too high. I feel just as you do about NYDJ. If you don't mind a low rise, there are more options. I like Hudson and even H&M sized way up with a belt to keep them up.

Thank you ladies for ALL your great suggestions. I used to have hourglass figure but as of lately I accumulated some( a lot actually weight around my waist an on my tummy. I blame late pregnancy( I given a birth at 39 an I am 45 now) and it is easier to blame something for your problems LOL. Thank you again for your recommendations.
