what I wore to meet the Governor...

Things have been super crazy in my life because I was working on a BIG project that resulted in a chance to meet Gov. Schwarzenegger yesterday. I think I did ok with the outfit especially because I think I nailed PPL and suit fit with your assistance. I didn't have a chance to have you review the shirt yet, but I think it worked out well. Thanks again for help in getting appropriately put together.

SO, now that that task has been accomplished, I'm hoping to have a bit more time to work on sorting through my clothes and figuring out what works and doesn't. I've been getting increasingly frustrated with my wardrobe. As I know a lot of you've experienced, I feel like I've got a closet full of stuff, but nothing to wear. Now, it's just getting over my shopping phobia...

Thank you everyone! It was a really fun day, made more so by not worrying about what I was wearing. Based on today's blog post, I think I may have achieved effortless yesterday.

Nicole, my life is only occasionally exciting. Yesterday was one of the occasions for sure but only part of it was meeting the famous governor. Yesterday was the big cherry on top of a project I'd been working on for two years and that would have been big regardless. But the Gov... He looks a lot like he does on TV and in print. He has very smooth skin. Not sure why that stood out to me. He's not as big (broad) as I think I assumed he'd be. I didn't really get to chat much with him so I couldn't say what he's like personally. We were at a press event so he had lots of handlers and was kind of in and out quickly. I was a total dork and mentioned that I lift weights. I'm sure he was thinking, "Who is this lady?"
